Hello, I recently (March 2018) purchased a new computer which has Windows 10. Until yesterday April 19th, 2018 my external Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex hard drive on a USB 2.0 connection could be used on this computer.
The short story: please avoid the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex disks. has 4kB sectors; If you plug a 1TB drive in there, it looks as if the drive has 512B sectors!
